What is Number Translation?
Service A number translation service translates a dialled telephone number, typically beginning 08 in the UK to a geographical ‘connect number’ beginning 01 or 02 in the UK. The connect number may be changed without changing the published dialled number. NTS numbers are used,
for example, to allow a caller to dial a local call to the recipient irrespective of location, saving money if the connect number was not also a local call. It’s a great way of having a London number without the cost of an office in London!

What is IP PBX?
An IP PBX is a private branch exchange (telephone switching system within an enterprise) that switches calls between VoIP (voice over Internet Protocol or IP) users on local lines while allowing all users to share a certain number of external phone lines. The typical IP PBX can also switch calls between a VoIP user and a traditional telephone user, or between two traditional telephone users in the same way that a conventional PBX does.
